Van Nelle factory

Born and raised in Schiedam, the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam-West represents as a symbol for the grand city of Rotterdam. From childhood I would drive past this imposing and prominent building to get to the city. Every day still I pass this industrial monument on my way to the Mathenesserlaan.
